Vodafone VF 247

It seems that after the Copenhagen Climate Conference which was held last year, big manufacturers and industrialists have realized the impact of global warming on Earth. Now they are focusing on renewable energy sources in order to create an eco-friendly environment and also save non renewable resources.

This phone is designed to target India’s big rural areas where people are still relying on real energy sources. Secondly, due to heavy power cuts that occur quite often in these areas, this phone will become boon for rural people. It doesn’t require any device for charging.

It has got a special inbuilt hardware and software known as Sun Boost which allows phone to get charged also in a room at normal daylight. It doesn’t need direct sunlight to get charged. Approximately, it needs 8 full hours of sunlight to be fully charged.

This VF 247 also offers some good entertaining features to kill the boredom. It features FM radio, color screen and torch light that are quite useful in villagers’ day to day life. It comes at a very pocket friendly price which is Rs.1, 500 only. It will be available across India from next month. For more updates on it, visit our blog section.
