BlackBerry Smartphone makers get warning from Indian Govt on security issues!
July 30th, 2010 | by yogesh.k |The Indian Govt has made it very clear to RIM-BlackBerry manufacturer to follow security guidelines else get ready to pack its business from India. In addition, the Govt has also asked RIM to address this security concern by offering monitoring facility as it is doing with the rest of the countries.
The BlackBerry smart phones are very popular in India and are being used by good number of customers in India. But Govt and Department of Telecommunication are not convinced with its terms and conditions regarding security concerns.
In reply to this warning, RIM is ready to address security concerns by giving desired solution to the Indian telecom agency. In addition, RIM also made it clear that it will comply with Indian formats. In addition, Indian Govt and telecom agencies want its server to be installed in India, in order to chase all emails and SMSes.
Keeping in mind the security issues and terrorist attacks, Indian Govt is now ready to take stringent actions against all such agencies, manufacturers and telecom giants that are not following security parameters.
